What I spin
Come for a quick whirl.
AI × Aviation
I lead AI products and strategy at Swiss International Air Lines, transforming how customers experience air travel. My favourite kind of problem: taking something as complex as an airline and making it feel effortless.
Strategy
Charting where AI genuinely moves the needle for travellers — and where it's just turbulence.
Products
From idea to boarding: shipping AI-powered experiences into the hands of millions of passengers.
People
Bringing crews, engineers, and executives into the same flight plan for AI.
Things I've built
I believe AI strategy written by people who've never built anything is fiction. So I keep building — small, real, slightly ridiculous.
fixmybanana
An AI coach that looks at your handstand photo, finds your spine, and tells you exactly how much of a banana you are. Free, and brutally honest — it gave its own creator 6.8/10.
Vouch
A fitness accountability app for two people — and only two. You, your person, a weekly pact, and a coffee on the line for whoever falls short. Native iOS app in the works; waitlist open at vouchfit.app.
JetSync
Jet lag, but shorter: your flight goes in, an hour-by-hour recovery plan comes out — built around when you exercise. Currently testing whether people want it before building it properly. That's the strategy part.
Next up
Something for everyone in Switzerland who fears the official A4 envelope. Spinning up now — follow along to watch it break first.
Speaking & community
The best thing about data and AI is the people you get to spin up along the way.
Talks & panels
Current talk: The January Problem — why AI strategies fail like New Year's resolutions, from someone who's been both a personal trainer and an AI strategy lead. Also: AI product strategy, AI in aviation, career reinvention. Invite me — I'll bring the energy.
WiDS Zürich
On the organizing committee for Women in Data Science Zürich — sponsorships and community building.
CoderDojo mentor
Taught HTML and Python to kids aged 7–17. If a seven-year-old can't follow your explanation, it isn't finished.
The Whirl
Working for an airline is dangerous for someone who loves to travel. London → Barcelona → Zürich so far; the rest of the map is a to-do list.

About me
I'm Shirley He — an AI product and strategy leader living in Zürich. My first career was personal training in a London gym. My second started with a data science master's in Barcelona (econometrics, machine learning, more GARCH models than anyone needs) and five years in the engine room — models, pipelines, cloud migrations. I grew into the part I love most: turning technical possibility into products people actually feel.
These days that means leading AI at SWISS. Outside of it, I help run WiDS Zürich, mentor whenever I can, and collect boarding passes. I work in English, German, and Chinese — and in spreadsheets, fluently.
Off duty you'll find me mid-marathon, mid-handstand, or mid-book — I read everything from econometrics to novels, and I write. More on that soon.
